FEBEX Stage 1 — PFLOTRAN Thermal-Hydrological Validation

The PFLOTRAN FEBEX Stage 1 model has been validated against the single-heater in-situ test dataset. It accurately reproduces the measured near-heater temperature evolution, the characteristic heat-up dynamics including rise and plateau by approximately 300 days, and the full buffer temperature envelope. Results are mesh-converged and benchmarked against measured field data.
